Here are some commonly asked questions we receive.
 

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF ROOMS FOR A GROUP? (or block)

WayPoint Travel will obtain quotes for as little as 1 room, however we get better rates when requesting 10 or more rooms.
 

HOW DO GROUP RESERVATIONS WORK?

WayPoint Travel will take requests for group reservations, send out proposals to multiple hotels that match your budget, star rating range, and concessions. Each hotel will respond with a bid including their group rates, policies and availability. WayPoint Travel will provide you with available hotel bids. We will then finalize all the details regarding your group reservation with a hotel contract. Some contracts will be signed by WayPoint Travel and some by groups, depending on attrition.

Attrition: The percentage of contracted rooms that must be filled in order to avoid paying a penalty
 

HOW DO I RESERVE A HOTEL ROOM?

WayPoint Travel will provide you with a link and/or access code, to either call into the hotel or book on-line. WayPoint Travel is here to assist you with your booking needs or concerns. Feel free to contact us for help.
 

HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES TO MY RESERVATION?

You can make changes by contacting the hotel directly, or access your reservation on-line.

You will need your confirmation number to make changes to your reservation.
 

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR SERVICES?

WayPoint Travel does not charge for facilitating contracts for individuals or groups. Should you need a Meeting Planner or Event Coordinator, fees for these services will be quoted.
